Artist's Bio
Cris Martins, a Brazilian artist, transforms natural fibres into elegant, sophisticated art with a rustic touch. Using twine, wood, jute, and ramie, she blends technique and intuition to create organic forms. Inspired by Africa’s rich culture, she honours its tribes by naming her pieces after them. Deeply connected to the Arab world, she tailors her work to its audience, conveying beauty through intricate designs. Her art reflects a fusion of heritage, nature, and cultural appreciation.
