This artwork envisions the harmonious blending of the traditional and the contemporary - where the organic nature of handcrafts meets the calculated precision of digital design.
It tells a story of interdependence, where two seemingly separate worlds influence and enhance one another.
The digital part of the piece serves as the structural backbone, the hand-embroidered components will act as the "living" part of the artwork, illustrating the raw, organic pulse of human craftsmanship.
The inclusion of natural gemstones offers tactile depth, contrasting against the flatness of the digital design.

Artist's Bio
Bettina Kulakowski is a mixed-media embroidery artist from Germany, based in Dubai since 2021.
With a communication and graphic design background, she shifted to embroidery, developing a unique technique blending digital art with traditional embroidery, enhanced by gemstones and pearls.
Her works feature nature-inspired textures and colours, capturing the essence of the natural world and evoking wonder and appreciation for the environment.
