Jacquard Cyanotype Kit
The Jacquard Cyanotype Kit is a comprehensive, beginner-friendly package designed to make the process of sun printing accessible and creative.
The kit includes two bottles of pre-measured chemistry (Part A and Part B) in light-proof black bottles, which you simply fill with water and mix in equal parts to form the sensitiser solution.
Once prepared, you coat the included Hahnemühle Platinum Rag Fine Art Paper with the sensitiser, allow it to dry, and then use the included glass printing frame (with clips) and film negatives or objects to expose the paper to sunlight or a UV source for 10-20 minutes (depending on conditions).
After exposure, the print is processed in a tray of cool water and left to air dry, resulting in the iconic rich blue cyanotype image.
The kit supplies enough materials to make at least 12 prints (21.59cm x 27.94cm), and includes 3 sheets of SolarFast Film (for creating or transferring negatives), 5 sheets of fine art paper, a measuring cup, a hake brush for coating, a film marker, and all necessary components in one box.
