Artist's Bio
Roya is an artist based in Dubai, known for her expressive paintings and innovative colour approach.
Deeply inspired by nature, her creativity flows across multiple mediums - from canvas to fibre.
Her journey into hand-dyeing yarn began as an experimental extension of her art practice.
She was driven to move beyond conventional, mass-produced shades and create colourways that feel truly personal and story-rich.
Starting in 2020, Roya began developing her dyeing techniques, meticulously crafting exclusive colour recipes - each one inspired by the natural world and the emotions it evokes.
After years of experimentation and dedication, her hand-dyed yarn collection became a reality in 2025.
Roya continues to paint alongside her work in textile arts.
She debuted her yarn collection at World Art Dubai in 2025, where her visual and fibre art will come together to celebrate colour, craft, and creativity.
