We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Please note that items under the Lifestyle department, machinery and electronics have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To initiate a return, log in to your account and click Request Return.
Returns with a value below AED 14 are not eligible for return.
If your return request is approved, we will arrange a courier collection within the UAE.
An AED 14 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Customers outside the UAE are responsible for all return shipping costs, including any import duties, taxes, customs charges, and additional fees.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, like custom products and prints, patterns, books, yarn winding service, shopping cart creation service for DMC threads, hand-tufted projects, vintage boxes, 24-carat thread, artworks, chess boards, elite packages, donations, tips or gift cards.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale, discounted, clearance or pre-ordered items. In addition, items cannot be returned because the manufacturer has updated the packaging or labels. Hand-dyed yarns are also non-returnable, as natural variations in colour are part of their unique character.
Workshops
All workshop bookings are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or transfers. Workshops are subject to our Workshop Terms & Conditions.
Exchanges
Items can only be returned and not exchanged for any reason.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved.
You’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days if approved.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Any charges associated with your order, including but not limited to shipping fees, bank charges, currency conversion fees, and tips, are not refundable.
If your return is rejected, we will contact you to arrange reshipment of the items for an additional AED 14 shipping fee (within the UAE).
If reshipment is refused or no response is received, the items will be disposed of without refund.
Customers outside the UAE are responsible for covering the shipping cost, including any import duties, additional taxes and other fees.
Immediate Order Issue Reporting
Review your order and details carefully during checkout and after purchase.
Any issues with your order must be reported immediately after purchase and before your order ships out.
This includes order errors, item selection, delivery option changes, or updating customer information such as address, email, or contact number.
Handmayk will not be held responsible for any errors, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Knots
During the manufacture of yarn from the raw material into a ball, there are many intermediate steps.
During some of these, joining new threads or repairing breaks may be necessary, resulting in knots.
Up to two knots in a 50g ball is within industry standards and is not a defect.
Please contact us if you receive yarn from us with more knots than you think it should.
Sizes
All sizes, measurements and dimensions mentioned on our website or packaging are approximate and may vary.
Natural variations in fibres, materials, and production processes can result in slight differences, and this is not considered a defect.

Machinery and technical equipment are subject to our Technical Support & Manufacturer Defect Policy. Please review that policy for reporting timelines, inspection requirements, and resolution procedures before requesting a return or refund.
