Using twine, wood, jute, and ramie, she blends technique and intuition to create organic forms. Inspired by Africa’s rich culture, she honours its tribes by naming her pieces after them. Deeply connected to the Arab world, she tailors her work to its audience, conveying beauty through intricate designs. Her art reflects a fusion of heritage, nature, and cultural appreciation.

Belen Senra

🇵🇪
Mariana Baertl, a Peruvian textile artist, studied Fashion Design before moving to Barcelona to specialise in Haute Couture and pattern making. Inspired by nature, she crafts textured, three-dimensional pieces from her Barcelona-based studio.
